This July, ICHS is pleased to announce its partnership at the Halal Food & Culinary Workshop 2025, a four-day training experience hosted in Al Meroz Hotel, Bangkok.

Organized by TMTA and PTMIT, the programme brought together global Halal experts, food technologists, certification bodies, and trade professionals. As the International Halal Partner, ICHS delivered a key session focused on global Halal market access.

The workshop spanned across four intensive days of training, discussions, and field visits. Sessions covered a wide range of topics, including halal e-commerce strategies, certification systems, taxation, and cross-border trade with Thailand, as well as emerging trends in global halal trade. Participants also engaged in business matching, visited the National Food Institute, and explored Thailand’s halal product innovation ecosystem, making it a truly holistic experience.

What We Covered:

As ICHS representative, Dr. Mohamed Sheha (Commercial Director, ICHS) led a focused workshop titled:“Halal Market Ecosystem and Accessing International Markets”

The session explored:

  • Global Halal demand trends
  • Key exporting challenges and opportunities
  • Navigating standards and certification globally
  • The growing role of non-food Halal sectors
  • Strategic pathways for international market entry

This unique experience reaffirmed the importance of Southeast Asia in the global Halal conversation and the role of ICHS in connecting ecosystems across continents.

We thank our partners TMTA and PTMIT for their exceptional organization and hospitality.
Stay tuned as ICHS continues to expand its engagement across Asia, Africa, and beyond.
