ICHS at the Forum – Tourism Dialogue and Halal Scoop Launch

The Islamic Chamber Halal Services (ICHS) proudly participated in the session titled:
“Halal Tourism and Priority Projects”, held on the third day of Kazan Forum 2025 and organized by the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation.

Represented by Ms. Nourhan Hafez, Marketing Communications Manager, ICHS delivered a talk on the growing influence of digital platforms in shaping travel behavior. She emphasized that over 5.24 billion active users are transforming how travel decisions are made worldwide. Platforms like TikTok have witnessed a 410% surge in travel content views, with 32% of users booking trips discovered through the app.

As part of the session, ICHS proudly introduced Halal Scoop — the first global social platform dedicated to the halal lifestyle. The platform was launched by Islamic Chamber Halal Services, a subsidiary of the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development, which represents the private sector across 57 OIC member countries and Muslim minorities globally.

The session addressed the vast untapped potential of halal-friendly tourism in Russia’s Far East and Arctic regions, exploring market readiness, economic opportunities, and promotional strategies for sustainable growth in this emerging sector.
